Hmmmm Welcome back to the site. Flying all BC-jet is one of my dream but thinking about taking a ultra long flight like that again makes me change my mind. I'd rather opt the flight with a stop ^^''

Kiwi - I didn't like the service on this flight. Although the flight was only 60% full, the service was not personal, and the crew had very little interaction with passengers.

Bio - Although it was a 16 hour flight, it felt really short.

Nice review and images indeed . I just noticed that the footrest on the BC class seat is slanted on the side. resting legs at an angle is kinda weird, but I believe it should be okay if I get to experience it my self

I've been waiting for a long time to see SQ's legendary C class 345.

Seems like the A380 seat is a bit more comfy.

Did you snap a photo of the snack bar? Want to see what you can munch while watching movies on these long flights.

But at 60% full aren't they loosing money just like TG's JFK route?

There are two types of foot rest on the seat. One extends from the seat itself, which is not slanted. The one that is shown in the picture is actually not a foot rest. It is the place where you put you feet when the seat is in 'bed' position.

The snack bar is not opened for flight to the US. This is because the US FAA regulation bans group gatherings on flights into the US. However, the crew walks around the cabin with baskets of snacks. These include potato chips, chocolate bars and fruit. The SIN-LAX, SIN-EWR flights are actually doing pretty well. I've heard that as long as the load factor is 50% (or slightly more), the flight is profitable.

WOW WOW WOW - Review of the month! Really....

Amazing products SQ provides on their A340-500, once they called 'Leadership' - it really is....

This product tells us why they can serve non-stop, all-business class 340-500 to LAX and EWR! I don't think other airlines can afford to operate the route.

On the side note, their 340-500's interior still look new and fresh!! Those Koito Business class seats are nicely designed too (though I've heard lots of negative comments about it)

SQ is, after all, number 1 in the industry. They are the one setting standard where others need to keep it up.

The pineapple's plastic package is really tacky, I've heard comments on flyertalk and sqtalk. They'd rathre put them on banana leave.

Too bad to hear about the crew's attitude. It can be like that on SQ, and given this is all business class flight, no Economy class pax to look down lol

Thanks for your kind comments. The all business class product is really an awesome product. I do agree that the Koito seats are not that great to sit and sleep on. But it's definitely one of the better business class seats that I've tried so far.

Is the seat uncomfortable? The pictures don't look like so. They seem to be the smoothest seat I have ever seen, actually. Everything looks marvelous except the pineapple in that inert plastic package.
