Hi all,

It has been a couple of years since I posted on this forum. I managed to re-activate my hflight account, and thought I'd share photos of my travels again.

I was on a recent business trip to the US, and decided to opt for Singapore Airline's non-stop ultra long haul flight to LAX on the A345 instead of the A380 flight via NRT. I'll let the following pictures do the talking instead of writing too much.

Let's take a look at the menu before we proceed to the main course.

The inflight magazine for the month and amenity kit for business class... pretty basic stuff.

The starter... Marinated seafood with smoked duck breast and mozzarella

Delicious garlic bread and roll...and butter. No virgin olive oil was offered

Now comes the main course....I chose the slow braised oxtail served with beaujolais style lentil and vegetables. This dish was created specially for Singapore Airlines by Georges Blanc... The taste wasn't fantastic and the lentils were disgusting!

This was followed by dessert. I chose the Citrus Creme brulee served with strawberry compote. The other choice was strawberry ice cream (boring).

To finish the meal off, an assortment of cheese and fruit, pralines and coffee or tea were offered.
I was too full by then, and decided to catch some movies...

Main course - Braised chicken with chestnut, seasonal vegetables and steamed rice followed by Mango and coconut charlotte

16 hours passed in a flash...we soon started our descent into LAX

Although it was a 16 hour flight, it felt really short because the flight was so comfortable. I did not regret choosing the A345 over the A380. It really saved me alot of traveling time.

I must apologize for the poor quality of the photos, somehow, my photo edits does not appear when I post it in the web.
