สวัสดีครับ

ตามที่สัญญาไว้ว่า จะไป check in ที่ ARL City Air Terminal แล้วมาทำรีวิวให้นะครับ ตอนนีก็ขอเอา section นี้ลงในห้อง Airport ก่อน แล้วค่อยทำ section 2 ต่อในช่วง PG711 BKK-MLE ในห้อง Bangkok Airways นะครับ

City Air Terminal เปิดให้บริการเช็คอินตั้งแต่ 4 มกราคม 2554 โดยตอนนี้มี TG กับ PG สองสายการบิน Full Service ให้บริการเช็คอินที่นี่ครับ

Dear Friend,

From 4th Jan 2011, Bangkok’s Airport Rail Link has launched its new service that enable passengers to check in at City Air Terminal, Makkasan ARL station, which I had just have chance to tried it out. The service itself is pretty good, regardless of the trouble during transfer between MRT (Subway) and ARL. Well, let’s concentrate on the new check in service and ignore the remaining. Everyone has moaned about it already and I would not repeat that.

By the way, may I remind you that the only two airlines that is prompt for this service are Thai and Bangkok Airways only. Other Airlines may start joining in sometimes soon, I hope.

ช่วงนี้เขาให้เช็คอินล่วงหน้าสัก 3 ชั่วโมงครับ เพราะยังใหม่อยู่ เกรงว่าเดี๋ยวจะเกิดปัญหาแบบไม่คาดคิด ก็เลยกันไว้ก่อนดีกว่า
Please check in at least 3 hours in advance for now, since the service is very new and some minor hiccup is possible.

การใช้งานก็ง่ายๆครับ ขึ้นไปที่ชั้น 3
Procedure is easy enough – go to 3rd floor

จากนั้นก็เดินไปซื้อตั๋วก่อน เขาจะให้สลิปมาด้วย ก็เอามาทั้งตั๋วทั้งสลิปแหละครับ ในสลิปจะมีเลข reference ที่สายการบินเขาจะต้องใช้ จากนั้นก็จะเห็นเครื่อง X-Ray เข้าไปตรวจกระเป่าให้เรียบร้อย
Then go to the counter or Ticket vending machine. Remember to ask for the receipt, which will be bear the number of your check in ID then proceed to X-ray your luggage

ชั้นตอนต่างๆมีเขียนไว้ให้เลย ไม่ว่าจะไปเลย หรือว่าจะออกไปทีอื่นก่อน ก็ได้ทั้งสิ้นครับ

รู้เคาน์แตอร์แล้วก็เข้าไปเช็คอินครับ มีเปิดอยู่สามเคาน์เตอร์ TGX2 PGX1 แค่นี้ก็ถมเถ ไม่ต้องเช็คที่บอร์ดหรอกครับ มองปร้าเดียวก็รู้
Then proceed to your check in

เริ่มไม่ค่อยประทับใจเท่าไหร่ เพราะต้องรอนานเกือบ 20 นาที ไม่มีเวลาบอกว่ารถจะมาเมื่อไหร่ เก้าอี้ก็มีแค่นี้เองครับ
And some negative impression begin here. I have to wait for almost 20 minutes without any clue of when would the train arrive. The only seat available is as pictured here.
