เหนื่อยมานาน ก็เลยไปพักชาร์จแบตครับ แต่คราวนี้ไม่มีเวลาไปไหนไกล ก็เลยได้ไปแค่อยุธยา ใกล้ๆ ขับรถไปแป้บเดียวก็ถึง จึงเป็นที่มาของทริปนี้ครับ ไปนอนเล่นๆที่ I U Dia Boutique Hotel แสนสวยแห่งนี้

Ayuthaya is a heritage – rich province, undoubtedly…. as it is previously the Capital City of “Kingdom of Siam”. The area is severely destroyed during the War between Siam and Myanmar three centuries ago. The houses and temples are burned down beyond recreation. Bankokian rarely make a visit to this province longer than a daytrip. Since it is just an hour drive from Bangkok City area. The decent hotel does not seemed necessary for one, but , I decided to try something different this time.

I U Dia (the easy pronunciation of Ayudhaya) is the choice of my stay.

ที่ I U Dia ข้างหน้าเป็นร้านกาแฟครับ โทษทีครับ ลืมถ่ายด้านหน้ามา เพราะแดดร้อนมากจนรีบเข้าร่ม โรงแรมนี้อยู่ใกล้ๆกับโรงพยาบาลอยุธยาครับ ถ้าขับรถผ่านโรงพยาบาลมา (รพ อยู่ทางขวามือ) ก็ให้ชะลอได้ลบแล้วครับ ใกล้มากๆแล้ว เดินไปได้เลย

There are 8 rooms in the hotel, each decorated with the fusion theme combining Thai atmosphere to the foreign heritage that the room is named after. Visit the website provided to see the detail and select the right one for yourself.

Let’s get into my room. We got Sheik Ahmad room for this trip, cost 4,500 Baht per night (approximately 150 US$)

And then the door into the room ….. What a carving! This is something you can expect to see in common Thai houses 100 years ago. But it is such an extravaganza to find one at present.

โต๊ะข้างเตียง ปลั้กเพียบ มีสวิตช์ลำโพงปรับความดังของดนตรีในห้อง เป็นเพลงไทยที่ฟังแล้วสงบ สบายมากครับ เหมาะกับการมานอนเล่น ชิลด์ ชิลด์ ให้ลืมเครียดแบบนี้เป็นที่สุด (แต่ตอนกลางคืนแอบน่ากลัวนิดๆ มีดนตรีไทยบรรเลงเบาๆ มองออกไปนอกหน้าต่างเห็นวัดพุทไธสวรรค์เปิดไฟ งดงาม อลังการ แต่ก็ นะ…..)
A group of electronic switch and outlet. The knob you can see is the volume switch for in room audio system. It play classical Thai song from ancient musical instrument all day long. What a nice touch to supplement atmosphere.
