Dear friend,

Bangkok has just introduced yet another mean of transportation to ease our life, and I hope they will keep these going on in the future, near or far alike. From BTS skystrain to MRT subway, extend to Airport Rail Link and this time is the queue for BRT- Bangkok Bus Rapid Transiะ. The system provide an extended service that run parallel to its BTS mother route, interchange at Chong Nonsi (BRT= Sathorn) and Ratchadaphisek (BRT= Chaiyapruek) at each end. Have a quick glance at the map and you will understand what do I mean.

ฺBRT ย่อมาจาก Bus Rapid Transit ครับ เป็นบริการที่เข้ามาเสริมให้กับเส้นทางขนานไปกัับ BTS โดยบรรจบกับ BTS system ที่สถานีช่องนนทรี และสถานีรัชดาภิเษกที่ปลายทางแต่ละด้าน

Let's begin at Chong Nonsi BTS station. The recently launched BRT service is well signaged and convenience enough. Just proceed to exit 5 of BTS station

And voila! you will see the ramp like this, link between the two system right above Sathorn - Naradhiwas intersection

Detour is needed, but it work just fine. You only have to watch your way since there's still construction work going on.

The ride is F.O.C during the service test run period, last until 31 August. You only have to grab a ticket at the booth.

The have a computerized system to track the route. I'm not sure how does it work since it is not pretty well used now. But I guess it will tell the remaining time before next departure.
