And claim our luggage at Carousel 2. It’s doesn’t take long for luggage to arrive, I guess 15 minutes which is typical for small airport.

ขากลับ คราวนี้ได้ตั๋วเร็วหน่อย ไฟลท์บ่าย 3 คือ TG 111 ที่มีข่าวว่าเครื่องบนต์ระเบิดไปวันก่อนแหละครับ

On a return flight, I got the ticket of TG 111, depart at 15.10.

This flight is recently an iconic flight for some Thais, since it made a headline news for A330 operating the flight a week back caught fire in one of the engine. I remember it’s HS-TEJ, one of the two oldest 330 of Thai Airways

ดูซิ ใครจะเป็นคนทำ Flight 110 มารับเราเอ่ย เช็คจาก FR24 ก็โป๊ะเชะครับ HS-TEJ ลำนั้นเลย ลำที่เพื่งเปลี่ยนเครื่องใหม่ไปหมาดๆเลย อิอิ

Quick check on Flightradar 24 reveal the aircraft that is coming to collect us. Bingo! it’s that particular airplane operating that particular flight. HS-TEJ (who have just had engine changed two days ago) come to get us!!!!

ที่นั่งเราครับ แบบเก่ามากกกกก คือหนาเตอะ ไม่มี head support ใดๆ

แต่ก็อย่างที่บอก ถ้าหากบินใกล้ๆ ผมไม่ mind ที่จะบินเครื่องเก่าเหล่านี้ครับ มันสบายสุดแล้ว

The seat are of 1990 era, which is not a state – of – the – art things, but I am happy for the seat pitch and recline.

Since the entertainment system is completely turned off ( I believe they have a large screen on the bulkhead, but it is inoperative for this flight), cabin crew conduct a manual safety demonstration.
