เรี่มการเดินทางกันที่ Departure Hall, Manado Airport ครับ

ก็มีFlight ไปหลากหลายที่เหมือนกัน อินโดนีเซียพึ่งพาการเดินทางทางอากาศเยอะมากครับ

Departure Hall of Manado is extremely busy by the standard of regional airport in my perception.

สภาพสนามบินถือว่าแย่ แออัดมาก ร้อนมาก มีโซนที่กั้นด้วยผ้าใบกำลังก่อสร้างอยู่ด้วย ที่เห็นโผล่อยู่ทางขวามือของรูปแหละครับ

As you can see, the airport is busting at its seam, it’s hot, it’s uncomfortable, part of the hall is undergoing renovation, which you can see on the right corner of this photo.

ได้ Boarding Pass มาสองขาเลยครับ แต่เค้าเข้มงวดเรื่องน้ำหนักมาก เกินกิโลเดียวก็ไม่ได้ครับ (คือจริงๆมีเพื่อนที่บิน Y class ฝากน้ำหนักมาครับ พอเกินก็ต้องสลับเอากระเป๋าใบอื่นที่เบากว่ามาฝากแทน)

I obtain my boarding pass in no time. Thanks to the helpful agent, but they are not really helpful with the excess luggage, though.

ข้างนอกไม่มีอะไรเท่าไหร่ ไปข้างในกันครับ ตรงนี้ก่อนเข้า Immigration นะครับ หันหลังเข้าหา lounge มองซ้าย ขวา จะประมาณนี้ ข้างในก็โอเคอยู่ครับ มีของให้ช็อปปิ้ง มีร้านกาแฟให้กินได้ แต่อย่าคาดหวังมาก

 

As I tried to escape discomfort outside, I proceed straight to the quarantine are and found it to be pretty pleasant. This is the section after first screening check, where only those with boarding pass can gain access, but not yet immigration process.

Now let’s see what do their CIP lounge has on offer. This is a sole lounge in the premise, operated by Garuda Indonesia Airlines.

This is all they have for the drink, nothing more.

อาหารก็ดูเหมือนว่าจะหน้าตาไม่ชวนรับประทานเท่าไหร่ สรุปว่า Manado อาหารไม่ถูกปากผมครับ มันออกไปทางฟิลิปปินส์ จืดๆเสียมากกว่า ไม่มีรสมีชาติจัดๆเหมือนทางบาหลี

And the food did not look appetizing, so I give up.

ระหว่างนั้น เลือกเมนูอาหารครับ กินอะไรดีเอ่ย

Menu is handed to everyone before push back. By the name of the choices, it sound pretty promising.

Good bye Manado คราวหน้ามาใหม่ อาหารไม่อร่อย แต่อย่างอื่นสนุกหมดเลย ชอบเมืองนี้ครับ

Good bye Manado, I shall return sometime soon. The only downside of this city is food, other than that, I love this place.

SilkAir Studio run on my iPad Mini Just fine, even better than the tablet provided in the seat pocket
