สวัสดีครับ

รีวิวคร่าวๆของเที่ยวบินสั้นๆ เส้นทางที่เกือบใหม่ของ Bangkok Air นะครับ บินไปมัณฑะเลย์วันวาเลนไทน์กัน โดยเที่ยวบินนี้ทำการบินโดยเครื่องบินและลูกเรือของสายการบิน Bulgaria Air ภายใต้ Bangkok Air Code และมีลูกเรือของสายการบินบางกอกแอร์ร่วมให้บริการครับ

Hello there,

I’ve just completed yet another trip to Mandalay, Myanmar with Bangkok Airways. Well, not totally Bangkok Airways service as the aircraft dedicated for this flight is the one wet leased from Bulgaria Air, and I have got a unique, fine experience with these two flights. Let’s see how was it like travelling European airlines in an Asian short haul route.

เปิดรีวิวมา ไปเช็คอินกันก่อนเลยนะครับ คราวนี้ขอภาพมุมสูงบ้าง เพื่อความแปลกใหม่สักนิด คราวนี้คนค่อนข้างเยอะครับ
I arrive early and finish checking - in in no time. Large crowd of traveller expected for a long holiday in my country.

ได้ Boarding pass ละครับ แต่ยังไม่ทราบ Gate นะครับ
Boarding pass obtained. I’ve reserve my preferred seat by checking in online, and only request boarding pass reprint. Actually I can print it out with no problem, but the airlines’ boarding pass is much nicer in my opinion.

ก็เข้าต.ม.กัน คิว ต.ม. ไม่ยาวและไม่ช้ามากอย่างที่กลัวครับ คิวเช็คอินยังยาวกว่าอีก ก็เลยหลุดเข้าไปถึงตรงนี้ได้อย่างรวดเร็ว
Immigration is not that long for today, at least not as long as I have expected and prepared for. So we get to this landmark pretty quick.

แต่ช้าก่อน ไหนๆก็บิน PG แล้ว จะไม่ไปใช้เลาจน์ก็ใช่ที่ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งเมื่อเรามีสิทธิ์เข้า Blue Ribbon International Lounge ที่ไม่ได้เข้าบ่อยๆแล้ว… ก็ต้องไปครับ
Prior to that, we are not to miss “Boutique lounge”  the famous lounge that all PG passenger gained access to. There are two section ; Boutique lounge section and Blue Ribbon lounge section, the latter one is for premium class and qualified frequent flier passengers.

เราบิน Economy นะครับ แต่ใช้สิทธิ์ AIS  Serenade ครับ
We are neither of the two categories mentioned above, but our mobile phone loyalty program give us access to the Blue Ribbon one.

แต่เราเลือกตรงดิ่งเข้าห้องส่วนตัวเลยครับ เดี๋ยวเราจะเสียงดังรบกวนคนอื่น จับบรรดาเป็ดๆขังไว้ดีกว่า
We go straight into VIP room, where the door can be shut to ensure our chatting noise is not a nuisance to fellow passengers.

แล้วพนักงานก็มาวางเมนูครับ เมนูแรก ผมชอบข้าวต้มบะกุดเต๋ เขาจะเสิร์ฟเมนูนี้ถึง 10.00 น. เท่านั้น ก็รีบสั่งด่วน ณ เวลารับคำสั่งคือ 9.55
Here’s the difference between Boutique and Blue Ribbon lounge. They serve hot meal according to the menu provided here. The rice soup is available during breakfast time, or until 10.00 am. My order is placed at 9.55 am, merely 5 minutes before the deadline.

แล้วอีกสิ่งที่เราชอบก็คือบะหมี่เป็ดย่างครับ เมนูนี้เป็นอาหารกลางวัน สั่งได้หลัง 10.00 เราก็สั่งตอน 10.05 หลังจากจัดการข้าวต้มบะกุดเต๋เสร็จแล้ว
เขินนิดๆ แต่ขอกินอำลา จะใช้เลาจน์นี้เป็นครั้งสุดท้าย เพราะหลังจากทริปนี้ผมก็กลับมาเปลี่ยนค่ายมือถือ ทิ้ง Serenade Status ที่ภักดีมาถึง 13 ปีกับเบอร์นี้
My friend opt for “lunch” option, roasted duck noodle which is available after 10.00 onward. Strange that he have to wait for the clock to chime at 10.00 sharp in order to get his order accepted. Any flexibility would be appreciated.

These stuff are also served in Boutique lounge. Maybe a little less section, but I guess you won’t be longing for Boutique lounge if those hot food is taken away.

อิ่มกันแล้วก็ไปเกทเตรียม Board กันดีกว่าครับ

ขอถามนิดนึง ใครเป็น Blue Ribbon  Passenger ตัวจริงบ้างครับ ไม่ทราบว่าพนักงานในเลาจน์นี่เค้าหน้านิ่งเฉยเป็นหุ่นยนต์ ไม่เล่น ไม่รับมุขอะไรทั้งสิ้นตามปกติของ Blue Ribbon Lounge หรือเปล่าครับ ไม่แน่ใจว่าเป็น Tone การบริการที่กำหนดมาเป็นแบบนี้ หรือว่าเพราะเป็น non-revenue visitors

Let’s go to the gate after we finish our “little” meal prior to departure.

ชอบ Bus gate มากๆครับ เพราะได้ใกล้ชิดกับเครื่องบิน
I don’t care what people said about Bus gate, someone said modern airport are not supposed to use bus gate but I love it. No too many opportunities for us to roam around Bangkok airport this much, even less chance to take photo of aircraft when the law prohibit us from taking one from the fence. All spotter please note.. you are a criminal here…

Business Class เขาชื่อ Silver Business Class ครับ แต่ส่วนนี้ไม่ได้ขาย ว่างสนิท
Their “Silver Business Class” look nice and comfortable, but Bangkok Airways did not sell these seat. I later find out that they are used as Flight attendant’s seat during takeoff and landing

เราก็นั่งที่  Seat pitch ถือว่าดีมากครับ กว้างนั่งสบายเชียว
Our economy class seat is reasonably comfortable, with nice seat pitch.
