เริ่มกันที่ ลาบแซลมอนครับ รสกลางๆ ไม่จัดเกินไป หอมกลิ่นเครื่องเทศ เนื้อปลาไม่คาวเลยสักนิด
Can we begin with Thai starter Laab Salmon. Laab is spicy herb salad that can go with several kind of meat. Salmon is not really traditional, but it’s our right choice today.

ส้มตำลาวสุดๆ นี่ชื่อในเมนูเลยนะครับ จานนี้ผมไม่ได้ลองชิม เพราะไม่ทานปลาร้า แต่เห็นว่าเปรี้ยวไปนิดหน่อย
Authentic Lao recipe of Som Tum. Thai’s and Lao’s taste of Som Tum is slightly different. Lao’s version also put in fermented fish while authentic Thai don’t.

แกงเผ็ดเป็ดย่าง อันนี้น่าจะสูตรชาววัง ใส่ครบทั้งองุ่นและสับปะรด เนื้อเป็ดแน่นๆ หนังกรอบๆ ฟินมากครับ
Roasted duck curry, they made it in the real trational recipe, with pineapple and grape which is really hard to find these day.

ข้าวผัดปลาเค็ม จานนี้ก็อร่อย ปลาเค็มมาเป็นชิ้นใหญ่ๆไม่ค่อยมีกลิ่นเท่าไหร่ แต่รสชาตินีใช่เลย เสิร์ฟมากับแกงจืดฟัก
Fried rice with salty fish, another thai ancient dish which is pretty difficult to make, but they can do it perfectly.

ก็เลือกกันมาได้สี่ชิ้น นี่เค้กบัตเตอร์ส้ม ผมชอบกินเค้กที่มีผลไม้รสเปรี้ยวแบบนี้ เพราะกรดผลใม้จะไปทำให้เนื้อเค้กนุ่ม ฟูและเบาขึ้น
Here’s our choice – Orange butter cake. I love the citrus based cake since the natural acid in these fruits will make the cake soft and lighter.

ทานกับ Thai Tea Latte อร่อยมากครับ ทำยังไงให้เป็นชั้นได้ขนาดนั้นก็ไม่ทราบ ชั้นล่างเป็นนมข้นจืด แทรกด้วยชาไทย แล้วทับด้วยนมสดร้อนๆฟองฟู พอคนแล้วจิบเข้าไปจะหอมนมมากครับ วันนี้ลืมสตาร์บคัส์ไปก่อนเลย
Recommended drink : Thai Tea latte. There are altogether 3 layers; bottom part is condensed milk, followed by Thai tea and top up with hot, foamy fresh milk. I have tried a lot of latte, tea or coffee, but I have never experience the fresh milk scented vapored into my nasal like this. (Sorry, Starbucks… you won’t have my visit today)
