สวัสดีครับ นายอาร์คพาไปดำน้ำที่สิมิลันกับทริปนี้นะครับ จองเรือพาดำน้ำแถวสิมิลันไว้ เป็นเรือแบบ Liveaboard ที่กินนอนบนเรือเสร็จสรรพ เรามาเริ่มที่เที่ยวบินขาไปกันก่อนดีกว่าครับ

Hi, this is the first episode of my Living aboard – Diving around North Andaman Area. Let’s start with my outgoing flight with Nok Air. One of our Low cost carrier, with good service and generous with their luggage permission, snack on board, free seating, but some of their aircraft are quite aged.

มาถึงดอนเมือง อาคารที่เคยเป็น Inter Terminal ตอนเที่ยงกว่าๆครับ คิดถึงจัง ไม่ได้เข้ามาที่นี่นานมาก บรรยากาศเก่าๆกลับมาเต็มไปหมดเลย

Don Muang used to be the main airport of Bangkok, so it is undoubtedly properly equipped. I got a lot of great memories here, sigh….. Glad that the airport is back in operation again

คนก็ไม่เยอะนะครับ แต่เค้าไม่ยอมให้ผมเช็คอิน เพราะเปิดให้เช็คอินก่อนเวลาแค่ชั่วโมงครึ่งเท่านั้น กลัวส่งของผมไปผิดไฟลท์ครับ ก็เลยต้องเดินเล่นเตร็เตร่ไปมา

I tried (unsuccessfully) to check in, they did not allow me to do so until 1.5 hours before the flight, the reason is acceptable – they have got another flight to Phuket before my flight and they would not like to mess up my luggage delivery.

 

คราวนี้สัมภาระก็เยอะอยู่ ปกติก็บ้าสมบัติอยู่แล้ว มาคราวนี้เจออุปกรณ์ดำน้ำไปอีกหลายกิโลทีเดียว

ไปกินข้าวกันดีกว่าครับ ร้านสีลมวิลเลจ อาหารก็พอได้ แต่ราคานี่เหลือรับ ผัดซีอิ๊วจานละร้อย

Let’s go for lunch then. Silom Village serve reasonable food, at unreasonable cost. This stir fried noodle alone cost me almost 100 Baht.

กินสิบนาทีก็เสร็จครับ ไปเดินดู Obsevation deck ดีกว่า เมื่อก่อนนี้เคยมานั่งอยู่ที่นี่เป็นวันๆตอนปิดเทอม ดูเครื่องบินแปลกๆ ตอนนี้โล่ง ร้านอาหารที่วิวดีๆก็ปิดไปแล้ว

With more spare time, I roam around the places and settle at observation deck. I used to sit here for days, watching the aircraft in action. They used to have Thai Airways restaurant, which is now closed.

คิดถึงบอร์ดนี้สมัยที่มันเป็นป้ายบอกเที่ยวบิน บรรยากาศอย่างนึงของดอนเมืองคือเสียงป้ายแผ่นนี้หมุนขวับๆๆอยู่ตลอดเวลาพร้อมไฟสีเขียวกระพริบ

มัวแต่เพ้อ มาเอาบอร์ดดิ้งพาสกันครับ

My Boarding pass. Not sure if the thermal paper like this are used in other countries? Nok air is a pioneer to use these paper I hate. It’s very difficult to keep during the journey, let alone kept as collection.

ก็ผ่าน security เข้าไปส่องต่อ ข้างในมีที่วิวดีๆเยอะมากครับ สนุกดี สนุกกว่า BKK

Pass the security to the airside. There are even more places for spotting, more fun than Bangkok Suvarnabhumi airport.

จากมุมนี้ มองเห็นความรุ่งเรืองในอดีต เส้นกำหนดจุดจอดสำหรับเครื่องบินหลากหลายแบบ และท่อส่งน้ำมันใต้ลานจอด เข้าใจว่า Low cost carrier terminal สมัยใหม่ส่วนมากคงจะไม่มี (มั้งครับ)

We can see the properity of Don Muang Airport in the past. The partking guide line for almost every kind of aircraft operated around the world. Modern Low Cost Carrier Terminal might not need such kind of things.

พอเข้ามาก็เกิดอาการสยอง มันเป็นเครื่องเก่าของ Ryan Air ที่ไม่คิดว่าจะได้เจอะเจอ อ่านวีวิวมาเยอะเกี่ยวกับ Ryan Air ที่มีแต่คนบ่นว่า seat pitch แคบมาก ไม่ทราบว่าเครื่องนี้เป็นเบาะเดิมของ Ryan Air หรือเปล่า แต่ที่แน่ๆ แคบ เก่า เยิน

I got a shock of my life once I get into the aircraft and discover that it is ex – Ryan Air 737… I have heard a lot of reputation about Ryan Air..but never imagine experiencing it myself.  Not sure if these seat are Ryan Air’s equipment, but, as far as I can see, it’s old, tired, dirty and cramp.

บ่นไปก็เท่านั้น นั่งชั่วโมงเดียว ดู safety pamphlet กับของในกระเป๋าดีกว่า

Thanks god I only have got one and a half hour in this plane. Let’s see the safety pamphlet and the literature in seat pocket.
