คราวนี้ถึงคิวของ food review แล้วครับ นายอาร์คพาชิมคราวนี้ขอเสนอร้านกาแฟ”บาคูบุง”ที่ใครๆก็ชอบไป และร้าน “เสบียงเล” ร้านโปรดของหลายๆคนครับ

เริ่มที่ร้าน บาคูบุงครับ เป็นร้านกาแฟสวยน่ารัก มีมุมถ่ายรูปเยอะแยะไปหมด ชื่อร้านเป็นภาษาแอฟริกา แปลว่า ”ฮิปโปโปเตมัส”ครับ
แผนที่ครับ อยู่ทางไปสนามบินและวัดพระใหญ่ ดูทางซ้ายฝั่งชายหาดให้ดีๆครับ มันไม่มีจุดสังเกตอะไรแถวๆนั้นเลย อยู่ๆก็โผล่ขึ้นมาข้างทาง เกือบเบรคไม่ทันแน่ะ

Now, let’s see what yummy stuff can we have at Samui. In this trip, I only have chance for “Bakubung Café” and “Sabian Lay” Restaurant.
Can we let’s start at Bakubung? It’s location is on the way to the airport, as shown on the map

Front of the Café. Driver beware, it’s really in the middle of nowhere. I felt like it suddenly appear out of thin air. So keep check on your left hand side (when driving from city)

ของกินที่สั่งครับ สั่งอะไรไปหว่า ลาเต้เย็น กับชามะนาวเย็นกระมังครับ อันนี้เป็นชามะนาวเย็นสูตรธรรมดานะครับ
The drink we ordered. Iced Café Latte and Iced lemon tea. The one in this photo is normal recipe of lemon tea.

Bakubung Honey Toast. A strongly recommended one, but watch out the calories.

ส่วนนี่ เป็น Signature drink ของเค้า บาคูบุง ไอซ์ เลมอนที ต่างจากสูตรธรรมดาที่มาเป็นเหยือกน้อยๆ น่ารัก กับแก้วที่มีชามะนาวแช่เป็นน้ำแข็งมาให้อยู่แล้ว
Here’s the “special” recipe of lemon tea. The difference – drink come in a tiny jug of liquid, accompanied by a glass fill with frozen lemon tea cube.

ออกมารสคล้ายๆสูตรธรรมดา แต่ค่อยๆจิบไปเรื่อยๆได้โดยที่น้ำแข็งละลายก็ไม่เสียรสแต่อย่างใด
The taste is similar to the “normal” one, but I love the way it can sit on the table for a long time, without getting diluted by “water” melted from traditional ice.

ร้านนี้ก็จบแค่นี้ครับ ค่าเสียหายประมาณ 600 บาทครับ นั่งชิลด์กันครึ่งวัน กลิ้งสบายอยู่บนหมอนเค้าน่ะแหละ พอดีคนไม่มีเลยเพราะไปวันศุกร์ครับ คนยังมาไม่ถึงสมุยกัน
A cozy and memorable experience. I spent half day with my boyfriend spoiled ourselves on their beanbag.

มาต่อกันที่อาหารคาวของเย็นนั้นครับ กินไม่เยอะเท่าไหร่ เพราะอิ่มจากบาคูบุงอยู่เลย
ร้านเสบียงเล อยู่ใกล้ๆซอยที่ทะลุเข้าไปหินตา หินยายครับ ดูแผนที่ได้เลย

And a restaurant recommended by lots and lots of travel advisor, blogger, food specialist, etc. Sabian Lay is just adjacent to the subroad that lead you to renowned Grandfather and Grandmother rocks. Simply drive 100 meters further and there they are.

ในร้านส่วนที่ติดหาดทำถาวรขึ้นมาเลย บอกตรงๆว่าเสียดายครับ ขาดเสน่ห์ไปเยอะมาก เมื่อปีก่อน ตรงส่วนนี้จะเป็นโต๊ะบนหาดทราย มีไฟ LED เป็นสายพันอยู่ที่ต้นไม้สวยๆ นั่งกินได้บรรยากาศกว่านี้เยอะ ตอนนี้ดูมันเป็นร้านอาหารธรรมดาไปเลย
A pretty nice dining area, but my boyfriend said he used to seen a better day, when this area is not elevated and customers be seated on the beach, feet in the sand with LED light decorate on the trees around. Anyway, it’s still pretty enjoyable for me.

อาหารที่เราสั่งครับ กุ้งซอสมะขาม กุ้งตัวโตมาก ซอสเปรี้ยวๆหวานๆ จานนี้ชนะเลิศ

ปลากะพงทอดน้ำปลา เนื้อปลากรอบนอกนุ่มในดีครับ นี่ตัวเล็กไปหน่อย เพราะเราสั่งว่าเอาตัวเล็กๆนะ กลัวจะกินไม่หมด
Deep fried Barramundi with fish sauce. I love the texture of the fish, but I am not sure if foreigner will like to scent of fish sauce hidden in the meat. If you are not quite sure of yourself, opt for only deep fried fish or steam fish with soya sauce, or something else. Plenty of choices to satisfy your diet.

ต้มยำทะเลมะพร้าวอ่อนน้ำใส ถ้วยนี้เป็นสูตรที่ unique มากๆครับ ไม่เหมือนที่เคยกินที่ไหนๆ รสเปรี้ยวนำ แต่ความหอมนั่นเตะจมูกทันทีที่ช้อนแตะปาก อร่อยครับ
Tom Yum mixed seafood and young coconut meat. I’m quite sure it can be enjoyed by everyone. Just make sure you order it “extramild”. (Note that this version of Tom Yum is of a clear soup base, lead by sour taste, finish with nice aroma herb)
